Southern Utah University is a four-year comprehensive state university located in scenic Cedar City . SUU's size, location, and personal attention engage students in every aspect of the educational process. At about 7,000 students, learning is achieved both from inside and outside the classroom.
Admissions. To be admitted to SUU, complete an admission application, submit the application along with your ACT or SAT scores, a high school transcript, and a $40 application fee. The admissions deadline for Fall 2007 is August 1, 2007.
Financial Aid and Scholarships . SUU offers its students a full range of financial aid including grants, loans, and work study. Aid from most programs is awarded on the basis of financial need. SUU's Financial Aid Office is ready to help you complete the aid application process. Bring us your concerns and questions. We will do our best to make this process as simple as possible.
The Scholarship Deadline is February 1. You can receive scholarships based on academics, leadership, talent and athletics. You must submit a complete application to SUU by February 1, 2007 to be considered for scholarships. Students who want to be considered for leadership awards will need complete a leadership resume found online at www.suu.edu/ss/financial Students interested in becoming a Presidential Ambassador must complete an application & resume found at www.suu.edu/ss/admission/pa by January 1, 2007.
