Snow College
is one of the nation's finest transfer institutions with a focus on liberal arts and sciences, and professional/technical education. With campuses in Ephraim and Richfield , and some of the smallest class sizes in the state, Snow College continually enriches the educational lives of our students. Building upon a tradition and heritage of academic distinction and personalized attention

Snow College welcomes all who will gain from or contribute to its educational student-centered environment. Snow serves about 3000 students. Our freshman and sophomore classes are some of the smallest in the state. Although we specialize in General Education, our Music, Science and Career and Technical Education programs are among the best anywhere.

Did you know ...

  • Snow's Music Department is one of only 23 two-year college departments accredited in the U.S. as members of the National Association of Schools of Music.

  • Snow College is a great place to start a career in medicine. For example, Snow graduates consistently finish in the top 10% of all students taking the PCAT, a nationally administered pharmacy exam.

  • Interested in Nursing or Teaching? Snow College has openings in our Nursing program for students interested in a CNA, LPN, or RN. We also have an excellent program for students interested in getting started on an Education major. Students can complete an Early Childhood degree and have real time experience right on campus.

  • Snow's Richfield campus offers 13 different career and technical education programs that prepare students for the workforce.

  • Snow has recently strengthened its transfer agreements with universities in Utah , making it easier for you to transfer to the four-year College or University of your choice.

  • Snow's football team has won the National Junior College Championship and numerous bowl victories, including bowl victories the last 3 years.

Admissions. Snow has an open admissions policy, which means anyone can be admitted. Simply take the ACT or SAT I, pay the $30 application fee, and submit an admissions application with an official high school transcript. Applications are accepted year round.

Affordable Excellence. Nearly 60% of admitted students qualified for an academic scholarship for Fall 2006 and nearly 70% of Snow College students qualify for some sort of financial assistance. Our low cost and generous financial aid awards make us an exceptional educational value. Snow offers grants, loans, and work study opportunities. The priority deadline for Federal Financial Aid for the Fall 2007 semester is June 1. Proof of graduation, or GED, are required to receive federal financial aid.

Snow offers a wide range of scholarships for academics, leadership, departmental, private, and athletics. The deadline for freshmen to submit scholarship applications is March 1. Academic scholarships are awarded on a first-come first-served basis so students are encouraged to apply early. Additional information on all our scholarships is available at www.snow.edu/scholarships .

Academic Excellence. Snow offers certificates and associates degrees in a number of areas. We are very successful in preparing students to transfer to every four-year school in Utah and throughout the nation. In fact, no two-year school in Utah has a better reputation for having credits accepted. Whether you plan to be a doctor, nurse, engineer, home builder, computer scientist, or teacher, Snow will give you the credits and training you'll need to enter a university or the job market. Snow will prepare you to compete in any classroom anywhere.

Excellent Campus life. At Snow, you won't have to stand in line behind a bunch of juniors or seniors to play on a team, try out for a play, run for office, or have air time on the radio. We have one of the most active campus life programs in Utah . Snow has tons of clubs from Acapella Choir to Western Dance or Dead Cats. Come join the fun! Each year in late August, we have a huge freshman orientation program called Start Smart where new students learn about clubs, teams, student government positions, and much more.

Housing. We're not a commuter campus. Snow offers both traditional dorms and apartments. Nearly all our students live here in Ephraim within walking distance of our campus. Whether you live on or off campus you will find housing more affordable than other state schools. One of the best decisions you'll ever make when you come to Snow College is to live on campus. Living on campus will not only save you money and help you get better grades, it also puts you right in the middle of all that's happening at Snow College.

Campus Tour. Come see us! There is no better way to find out if Snow is the right college for you.
