College/University Credit Transfer Guide

The Transfer Guide is a tool for students attending a college or university in Utah who want to transfer course credit to a different Utah institution. The guide shows students how course credits that are earned at one college will transfer to other Utah institutions (as long as minimum grades were earned). However, accepting transfer credit does not automatically mean the credits you earned at one school will count toward degree requirements at another school. Students are strongly advised to work with their college's advisors to ensure the classes taken at another school will not only transfer, but will also count toward graduation or the requirements of a selected major.

Academic/Training Programs

The 10 public colleges and universities comprise a wide range of academic and applied technology training programs. Each institution is distinctive in its emphasis on the various academic and training programs offered. The Utah State Board of Regents establishes the teaching roles of the various public institutions of higher education and prescribes the general course of study to be offered, consistent with traditional role of each institution's. Under policies and procedures approved by the Board, each institution may make such changes in its curriculum as necessary to better effectuate the institutional role.
