SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah State Board of Regents and will meet on Friday, July 28 at 9:30 a.m. in the Taggart Student Center on the Utah State University campus in Logan, Utah for the Board’s regularly-scheduled meeting.

Some items of interest on the agenda include:

• Proposed revision to streamline the process for approvals and changes to academic programs, also increasing the responsibility of institutional Boards of Trustees in these matters.
• Proposed Utah higher education Budget Request for 2010-2011.
• A discussion on the configuration of the Utah System of Higher Education – to clarify the current philosophy and approach of the Board of Regents.
• Higher education capital development request for 2010-2011.
